A peaceful city by the sea
The quiet streets of Saint-Pol-de-Leon are still recovering after unexpected rainfall. The drops fall from the sky, the shy gray roofs reflect the sun's rays, some voices are heard far away and some tourists take refuge under the shelter of the two towers of the imposing cathedral. Pretty white houses and public buildings are flooded, as are all the streets of the village of Saint-Pol-de-Léon. The city still retains its religious past that is best exemplified by the jagged spiers of the church. An unmissable place for those who travel in search of peace and a place steeped in religious history.
