Saint Roch Train Station

Il s'agit de la seconde gare ferroviaire d'Amiens, après celle de la gare du Nord. Le bâtiment actuel est post-seconde guerre mondiale, car comme l'ensemble du nœud ferroviaire d'Amiens, elle fut détruite pendant la seconde guerre mondiale. Son architecte fut Pierre Dufau, qui fut en charge de la reconstruction d'Amiens. La 1ère gare fut quant à elle construite en 1847, pour les lignes Paris - Calais et Amiens - Rouen. Aujourd'hui, elle sert surtout pour le fret, mais elle voit également passer les passagers des lignes Rouen-Amiens et Amiens - Calais-Ville, soit environ 200 passagers par jour.

This is the second railway station of Amiens, after that of the Gare du Nord. The current building is post-World War II because, as the entire railway junction of Amiens, it was destroyed during the Second World War.
