Saint Mathieu Point
Like something from a Mary Shelley novel, the abbey that crowns the promontory of Saint Mathieu, remains in the dark while a lighthouse 20 meters high ,lights it up, it again and again during the night. Flashes of light on a white and blue wall. Years in the depths of the ocean without moving. Some ruins that recall the area's past, while looking to the future. A building, while about to disappear continues to be reclaimed as a tourist attraction in the area. Legend has it that when moving the body of the apostle Matthew, some merchants from Leon were miraculously saved from being shipwrecked on the promontory.
