Old Delphi
On entering old Delphi, we find the Via Sacra. It is a Roman road which at the time was full of treasures and statues from the city - such as Thebes, Sifnos, Sicyon, Athens or Cnidus. With the offerings, the city - states gave thanks to Apollo for having helped win a battle. Today you can still admire parts of these treasures walking down the Via Sacra. What we can observe are particularly large stone remains of buildings belonging to both and to the treasures and Roman columns that are in various states of preservation. Moreover, in this way is also the council building and it is in very good condition because it has been rebuilt.
