Staying in a tree house in Olympus
I came to Olympus because after Cappadocia we wanted to visit the Turkish coast, mostly the Lycian coast. My friend recommended Ahmet Olympus: He said it had an amazing beach, ruins of an ancient Lycian city and a young and relaxed atmoshpere. He told me something that left me surprised: According to him, Olympus people lived in huts on the trees. I took a 12 hour bus to Antalya and from there a combination to Olympus. The place was idyllic, rustic, lost in a valley between mountains. I took the time and dreamed of Olympus and its beach where a few decades ago backpackers and hippies made it home.
