    A highly recommended site

Looking for rural lodging that allowed dogs for the weekend in Sierra de Cazorla, we were recommended this hotel and I must admit that it was a success.

The hotel is located between the towns of Coto Ríos and Arroyo Frío in the longitudinal road which crosses the park and runs from Cazorla to Tranco de Beas.

Upon arrival at the hotel and entering the reception, my first impression was that I’d entered a lodge in Maasai Mara, a Macaque, elephant feet, a bear, and even a lion (stuffed of course), every wall filled with photos of the owner, showing off his hunting trophies... Well, different strokes for different folks.

After the surprise, we descended a slope to find the rooms, pavilions located to the side of a beautiful lake. The rooms are very spacious; the beds huge, they even have a nice fireplace to make it cosier on cold mountain days.

The bathroom is very complete with an assortment of towels with embroidered logo that are changed daily.

There is also a terrace with chairs and table, to contemplate the lake or enjoy the breeze at night ... and surprise surprise, there are hardly any mosquitoes.

The hotel's lake is private, and if you like, you can even fish without a fishing license. There are trout, catfish and carp, as well as several species of ducks and turtles, a pier and a nice pool surrounded by a manicured lawn.

Pets can roam at their pleasure around the facilities as you stroll along the lake. A highly recommended site.

Hotel with lake surrounded by nature

    Excellent

If you want to get to know the Sierra de Cazorla and enjoy a few unforgettable days, this is your hotel.

Located on the road from Cazorla to the Tranco of Beas reservoir, between Arroyo Frío and Coto Rios, is this country hotel: charming, cosy and offering from very friendly staff, to a private lake where you can go fishing as well as kayaking, passing through their display of hunting "trophies" that is a veritable museum.

The hotel has rooms with a fireplace (and all the services of a four star hotel) but they also rent cottages.

You can get either half or full board and order free buffet if you go with a group. From the part opposite the lake, crossing a bridge over the Guadalquivir River, one can walk up a path to the Borosa River fish farm (about two miles away).

We have been alone (my husband, my six year old son and I), with another couple and with a group of mothers and children between three and fourteen and we’ve loved it every time. I recommend it.

I recommend it and will return

I loved the hotel. It is located within the natural park itself. The room we requested had a fireplace and was stupendous.

There is a lake with ducks inside the enclosure. They also have two pools that at that time were not available for use but I can imagine how they would be pleasant in summer.

The restaurant has local food and is great, being able to choose from the menu with half board.

What I liked least were the excessive hunting trophies (heads of deer and other animals). Although it does make the place original. I recommend it and will return.
