A town of different aromas
Jijona (Xixona) is a town famous for nougat, complete with a chocolatier, confectioner, and is a town where walking can become a tour of aromas. Unfortunately the economic overexploitation of these products has resulted in a town full of slow-moving cars making this kind of excursion. But a trip to the ruins of the castle and its excellent facilities is highly recommended. The views are great; Xixona, the hill in front of the chapel, a vertical wall forest alongside and in the distance, the Mediterranean Sea. The castle ruins are vast, and there are some places that can be very dangerous for children if not accompanied by adults.
