A nice street
Rue Saint Martin looks like an ordinary street - if that! No vehicles cross it, so it is more like a little terrace of tranquility near the cathedral and the Bessires bridge. From the outskirts, it offers a view of the maritime promenade which, like the rest of the city, is set on a slope. Benches have been placed here, allowing walkers to enjoy a little moment of rest in a quiet corner, where the only economic activity is a small restaurant.
