Rúa do Mercado

Besides visiting the natural park of Arribas and the major historical monuments of the historic city center, one of the main attractions of the city of Miranda is shopping. Most shops are in the new part of the city, especially on the Rua do Mercado, which houses the traditional food market. The main items we can find in these shops are textiles (bed linen, towels, tablecloths, and even branded sportswear), although there are also furniture and decoration shops there.

The prices are somewhat cheaper than they are in Spain, but they are far from the bargains that they were a few years ago.
