Every year in August, music arrives to the beach of Saint-Mal: The Rock Route. The town of privateering is dedicated to the cause of British pop and rock to attract Anglos every year, more than 15,000 spectators eager to see the revelations of the music scene. Few festivals dare to innovate as much as the "Rock Route". When in 1993 an unknown group from Oxford went up to the stage from Saint-Malo, few knew them at the time, they are called Radiohead. This success has been repeated year after year inviting groups like The Cults, The Killers or Hearvy PJ. An inevitable turn towards the 'indie' has made this festival one of the best known in France.
