Castle Road

We arrived in Fussen with the intention of seeing its wonderful castles, namely Neuschwanstein, which is one of the seven wonders of the world and was an inspiration for Disney. A bus took us almost to the bottom edge and you could see both structures. We bought tickets for the castle, but because there are specific entry, we walked up to Hohenschwangau castle. There are many ways to see the castle like by foot or by horse and carriage. I recommend going by foot so you can enjoy the scenery! I went in winter and honestly, the views were wonderful, everything was covered in snow. It's worth going into Neuschwanstein.
