A little history
Oddly, Manchester was founded in Roman times. Almost nothing of the original buildings are left though just a few steps from Mosi are some plaques and some vestiges of what was once the city wall. Go for a little history and to see the occasional old stone, it is worth stopping a moment to think about the skills that the Romans had to get there so many centuries ago, with the English Channel involved. Regarding cultural wealth, do not expect to see the remains of a Roman city, far from it.
