Roman Bridge
At the mouth of the river Miñor (Val Miñor) is the town of Ramallosa where you can find one of the most beautiful medieval bridges preserved in Galicia. This stone bridge dates from the twelfth century and was built by the then Bishop of Tuy. A long time ago, tradition held that this bridge was related to fertility rites. According to tradition, a woman could not become pregnant before a spell was cast at 12 pm. The first person to cross that bridge after the spell became pregnant.
