Hiking the Rockies
Colorado has lots of beautiful natural areas, but one of the most interesting trips is hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. Here, the Rockies reach their highest peaks (over 10,000ft.) and great a natural divide from which the main rivers of the US sprout both east and west. One of the best and most visually stunning hikes is the Trail Ridge which runs up to the peaks through forests, waterfalls, alpine meadows, and lakes, all in a surrounding of peaks that remain snowy even in summer.
