Built in 1385
The Rocca di soragna, Parma, was built in 1385 by the Marquis Bonifacio. At that time the building resembled a mighty fortress built to fight off external attacks. Its rooms are decorated with furniture and furnishings from the early Baroque period. It presents frescoes and paintings of Abbot Nicholas, Cesare Baglione, Ferdinando and Francesco Galli Bibiena.
