1 review of Robin Hood's Bay

Robin Hood's Bay

Robin Hood's Bay is a typical village on the North East Coast of England (Yorkshire) near the villages of Whitby and Scarborough. Located between sea and mountains, it is a perfect location to get lost for a day and try the local fish, famous in all its varieties, but as usual, the battered and fried with fries is the most popular demand, known throughout the country as "fish and chips". For anyone looking for something romantic to do with Robin Hood in the area, unfortunately the only thing he gave the area was its name. According to local inhabitants, the most lawless connection the town has is with piracy during the time of Sir Francis Drake...

Anyway a very nice place, worth stopping in.
