En este sitio, emplazado en el centro de la ciudad (justo frente al Parque de la Cultura), puedes cenar de lujo por un precio más que razonables. Se especializan en comida argentina (parrillada de carne humeante, mmmm) pero tienen tapas para todos los gustos. Cuando hace buen clima (casi siempre en Valencia) os recomiendo la terraza, muy tranquila y amplia. Para los días de frío vale la pena entrar y disfrutar del ambiente bohemian-vintage de su salón principal: maquinas de escribir colgadas en las paredes y una colección de cámaras de cine a-lu-ci-nan-te! Algunas de sus tostas revelan la pasión por el séptimo arte que se respira en Rivendel: El espíritu de la colmena (sobrasada, queso y miel), Big Fish (salmón, aguacate y caviar) y la Cazuelita Potemkin (patatas, jamón ibérico y huevos fritos). Sin lugar a dudas, este local constituye un imprescindible rincón de Valencia.

En pleno casco histórico, junto al jardín de un antiguo hospital, ahora biblioteca, y dando su terraza a una calle peatonal. Menús a precios accesibles -menos de 10 €- y cocina de nivel más que aceptable. Lo mejor, poder disfrutar del bondadoso clima de Valencia en cualquier época del año mientras comes. En su interior, wifi y música internacional, así como una pequeña sala de conciertos. Regentado por profesionales con imaginación. Único inconveniente: Ligero retraso en servir en días de gran concurrencia. Por lo demás, totalmente recomendable.

Tuve la suerte de conocer una de las terrazas más tranquilas y con buen rollo de Valencia, donde la gente que atiende es super amable. Recomiendo que la gente pruebe Rivendel si tiene ganas de buenas tostas, buenas tapas, cerve bien fría y combinados con buena onda. Los precios muy buenos para los tiempos que corren. El toque argentino se nota en la parrillada de carne que sirven, muy buena! Eso sí, hay que ir relajado porque siempre está a tope y puedes quedarte sin sitio.

Rivendel es un local muy coqueto con multitud de bonitos detalles. Te puedes tomar un café con tarta casera cualquier tarde y disfrutar de sus revistas de diseño/arte/cine y también ir a cenar con amigos en su terraza. Si pruebas su cocina no te pierdas la parrilada de carne, solamente con el aroma ya estás en la gloria. Lo malo para los días de verano es que la 1:30hs cierran la terraza.

Rivendell is a very cozy place with lots of nice touches. You can have coffee with homemade cake every afternoon and enjoy its design magazines / arts / movies and dinner with friends on the terrace. Se cena bastante bien, el trato es muy agradable pero no es "la mejor terraza de Valencia" como algunos dicen aquí. Buenos precios y sitio tranquilo. Recomendable, volveremos. La parrillada esta genial
