Roland Flutet
A small historic village
This small historic village lies on a small detour from the A61 between Harrogate and Ripon in Yorkshire, northern England. Ripley is probably the only English village to have been built twice by the same family, 700 years apart! It was originally located to the south, back in the 14th century, and was completely rebuilt in 1830 by Sir Ingilby. It is a model village, self-sufficient with shops, bar, restaurant and post office, for only 200 inhabitants!
