Ribbon Falls

Ribbon Falls Trail is a beautiful, easy hike with stunning reward - a massive cascading waterfall. The trail is about 22 km out and back, but it shouldn’t take any longer than 5 - 6 hours because it’s not extremely challenging. It is a fairly popular hike, so there will be plenty of people around. Hiking boots would be ideal, but good running shoes could work in a pinch, unless you are continuing on to Ribbon Lake - which requires scaling a cliff face. This hike will take you along a canyon and past several smaller waterfalls before you arrive at the Grande Finale. Be sure to carry bear spray as this area is known to be popular with both grizzlies and black bears.
