About 3 km from Tavira, in the hamlet of Santa Margarida, you can enjoy the best grilled fish for a small fee. Upon entering you're served a salad and asked if you'll have meat or fish. If you choose fish they bring you trays of sea bass, sardines, sea bream etc.. all recently caught. This may vary depending on the day. The bill with 4 beers, 2 coffees, and a cake was €28.
