Restaurante los palomares

Ha pasado ya mucho tiempo desde que este lugar del "Hotel La Torre" en Vega de Valdetronco era una de las paradas habituales en mis frecuentes viajes por la A-6; cuando con la consumición te daban un vale descuento para la gasolinera, que entonces era una de las más baratas de toda la ruta. Lugar que siempre recomendé a familiares y amigos. Al parecer ha habido cambios, la gasolinera ahora esta abanderada por CEPSA, y por lo visto también en el nuevo funcionamiento del Bar del "Hotel La Torre" y este nuevo restaurante "Los Palomares". A primera vista puede parecer que el comedor forma parte del bar o viceversa, pero no. En el comedor hay una carta limitada y no se pueden consumir nada de los productos disponibles en el bar, aunque al parecer si se pueden consumir en el bar los productos de la carta del comedor. Una cosa muy rara, y unas pretensiones muy alejadas (a mi manera de entender) de lo que los viajeros de paso esperamos de este tipo de establecimientos. No hay menú del día, la calidad y servicio no se corresponden con los precios, por lo que para mí ha perdido todo el atractivo que en su día tuvo. Ya no volveré a parar, y tampoco volveré a recomendarlo. Una comida frugal para un matrimonio con un niño de 11 años, con 1 botella de agua, y 2 tés ..... 73,40 €uros. Hay otros muchos lugares en la ruta con mejores ofertas y relación calidad/precio.

Increíble cocina de diseño. Un lugar distinto en la que la magia de sabores y las formas, se convierten en un arte. La cocina increíble, el diseño de los platos espectacular. Situado a pocos kilómetros pasado Tordesillas dirección A Coruña, en una gasolinera se encuentra este hotel con restaurante y una cocina de diseño. Muy recomendable.

Located a few kilometers past La Coruna address Tordesillas, at a gas station this hotel is a restaurant and a designer kitchen. Highly recommended.

Caro no. Lo siguiente, se come de pena. Seguir unos kilómetros e ir a cualquiera seguro es mejor.
