Restaurante la Cesta de Recoletos

I had spent months trying to go to La Cesta but it was always too full. That happens when a restaurant gets popular in Madrid. But, just yesterday we got a chance to experience this restaurant firsthand and it exceeded our expectations.
The offer here is traditional Spanish food (Spanish omelets, croquetas) and a few haute-cuisine touches like the white veal tartar, but everything is made with the finest and freshest ingredients. The atmosphere is unstuffy and relaxed and is a great place to go with your significant other or a small group of friends. The hake dish and the cheesecake are two standout dishes.
