High end Argentinian cuisine
The chef in charge of the Hernn Gipponi is one of the best in Argentina's capital, and is one of the few restaurants worth eating in (its among the top 50 in Latin America), and is in the Restaurant list magazine. We had a very nice dinner, with very creative and simple dishes at the same time, the main ingredient and technique may be somewhat uncommon. Besides having a very minimalist kitchen, the dishes are also simplistic, but the chef strikes a balance between flavors and textures not found in any other place in the whole of Argentina. When we visited, I only had the option of menu-tasting and all dishes surprised us greatly, both visually, as well as in aroma and flavor.
