Best restaurant on Tabarca
This place basically made my trip to Tabarca. There's nothing better after a long swimming under the hot Spanish sun than sitting down at a breezy, shady table overlooking the sea and having some cold beers and great food. And not only is it delicious, but it's cheap!
We didn't order a la carte, but we say some a la carte paellas which looked phenomenal. Many paella places use small, skimpy shellfish, but these paellas had fat, juicy prawns and tons of mussels and clams. I would, however, suggest the menu of the day for 12euros. We had a beer, a salad, a plate of fried fish and calamari, and an "arroz a banda" (like a small, more flavorful variant of regional paella from this part of the Costa Blanca) and a desert of fresh watermelon, cantaloupe, and flan for 12 euros a head. It was to die for!
