An interesting site
Just twenty-seven kilometers from the city of Malargüe are rock formations eroded by wind and rain forming the "Pincheira Castles," named as such by the family Pincheira. They were Chilean brothers, robbers, and rustlers who acted between 1818 and 1832 in Chile and Argentina whose band grew to form between 500 and 1000 riders who fought against the patriots and formed alliances with the chiefs of the area.
On-site there is a campsite complete with pool, store, and the restaurant "High Willows". Some activities you can participate in are: hiking, rafting, horseback riding, photo safaris and trekking.
