1 review of Renaissance Brussels Hotel, A Marriott Luxury & Lifestyle Hotel

    Renaissance Brussels Hotel

This is a highly recommended hotel to stay at when traveling to Brussels on the basis of quality for price. While it is not in the center of town, it is still not too far. Walking from the hotel to the center takes about 25 minutes, but the Trone Metro Station is five minutes away. In addition, at the Luxembourg Square, which is one block away, there are several buses that go to the center. Right there you will find the train station Gare du Luxembourg. It is practically attached to the European Parliament, in a very quiet area, with little traffic or noise. The hotel has 262 rooms spread over six floors in a very new and very intricate both in details and in cleaning.

The hotel, part of the Marriot chain, has a bar with an elaborate list of drinks open until 2am or so, a restaurant with an even more elaborate menu with good working hours and a small shop that is open 24 hours a day where you can buy anything such as drinks, snacks, liquid contacts, toothpaste ... And it also has 24-hour room service. That is it as far as food is concerned. It also has a swimming pool, a small gym and spa, meeting rooms, parking, and wireless internet ... As for the rooms, they are well-furnished and large. There are large single beds, television, iron and ironing board, a small dressing area and connections to the computer. The bathroom is more or less the same, with shower and bath, with varied amenities, hairdryer ... The bad thing, as they have in the store lobby area, there is no mini-bar. Yes, they have tea and coffee and a tea variety. The price is not too expensive. Approximately 60 euros for the double room without breakfast, but they have a great weekend rate if you stay three nights between Thursday and Sunday, where you only pay for 2 nights. And on weekends clients do not pay for the parking. The bar is a little more expensie. A mixed-croque monsieur sandwich costs 12 euros. Yes, it is a good size with little salad. Or a cheeseburger and fries costs 16 euros. Actually, it is a good hotel, with a very good service, both in reception and in different bars. Virtually all employees speak English, French and Spanish. The only complaint one can make would be the location, although it is far away and connections by underground or bus or train is spectacular. Also, there are many bars where breakfast for a very affordable price.
