Beautiful tile roof
The Calvinist Church is located in Szilágyi Dezső tér, a square on the banks of the Danube river on the Buda side of the city. If you head up to the Fisherman's Bastion to enjoy the view of the city, you can't help but notice the Calvinist Church's beautiful roof decorated with colorful Zsolnay tiles. It's similar to that of the Matthias Church but somewhat more discrete. The church was built between 1816 and 1859.
