Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area

The Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center (Las Vegas) is a great place to take a stroll and enjoy the different rock formations in the desert, admiring the beauty and colors. There are many points where you can see this 65 million year old geological masterpiece more closely. There is a nominal fee to enter the park, and you can visit the Red Rock Visitor Center, which includes photographs and a collection of artifacts from the area, as well as scenes of the ancient inhabitants of the area, and the habitat of the desert tortoise.
