Fantastic winter or summer hike

I had been wanting to snowshoe to Rawson Lake for years, and a couple of weeks ago, we made that wish a reality! Located in the heart of Kananaskis Country, Rawson Lake makes for a fantastic winter or summer hike. It's a 4km round trip, which in snowshoes took us about 3 hours including stopping for a quick snack at the top. There are a few steep sections, but mostly it's a steady incline that isn't too difficult.

You'll find the trailhead at the Upper Kananaskis Lakes parking area, and from there, the trail is very well marked.

I can't wait to go back in the summer!
