Si vous séjournez à Bundi, n'hésitez pas à vous aventurer dans la campagne environnante. Louer un vélo reste le meilleur moyen de découvrir les alentours et cela ne vous coûtera que 30 roupies (0,50€). L'un des itinéraires les plus intéressants consiste à se rendre à Rameshwar, à 20 km au nord de Bundi. Vous y découvrirez un temple troglodytique dédié à Shiva, ainsi qu'une cascade. Sur le chemin, se trouve un lac, le Jait Sagar, où une pause photo est nécessaire. Un peu plus loin, découvrez le Sar Bagh, qui abrite de nombreux cénotaphes royaux, en demandant la clef à un des habitants d'une des petites maisons qui se trouvent de l'autre côté de la route. En continuant votre chemin jusqu'au temple, vous traverserez un oasis luxuriant, une grande zone désertique et une forêt de banians. Vous passerez dans les quelques villages qui vous séparent de Rameshwar, certainement sans passer inaperçu. Les indiens sont toujours surpris de voir un étranger sur un vélo ! N'hésitez pas à vous arrêter lors des nombreuses rencontres que vous ferez et profitez en pour boire un tchaï. Inoubliable !

If you stay in Bundi, do not hesitate to venture into the surrounding countryside. Renting a bike is the best way to discover the surroundings and it will only cost you 30 rupees (0.50 €). One of the most interesting route is to go to Rameshwar, 20 km north of Bundi. You will discover a cave temple dedicated to Shiva, and a waterfall. Along the way, there is a lake, Jait Sagar, where a photo stop is required. A little further, discover Sar Bagh, home to many royal cenotaphs, asking the key to one of the inhabitants of the small houses that are on the other side of the road. Continuing your way to the temple, you will cross a lush oasis, a large desert area and a forest of banyan trees. Spend the few villages that separate you from Rameshwar certainly not go unnoticed. Indians are always surprised to see a foreigner on a bike! Do not hesitate to stop at the many meetings and you will take the opportunity to drink a chai. Unforgettable!
