Very central
Located in a cobbled street in the old part of Bremen, the Ubersee hotel is just two minutes walk from the cathedral and City Hall. Everything is nearby: bus and tram stops, the Arno river ... without a doubt, its location is its best asset. It's set in a tall old building, but the reception feels modern and comfortable; however, the rest of the hotel doesn't have the same air. In my case, I stayed here for two days on business in a single room, and I was a little disappointed as I'd expect more from a hotel of this category, as it's not cheap.
I would say it is a hotel for people traveling on business to Bremen who want to be in the center. Don't think of it as a touristy hotel; the clientele aren't young, and prices are very high. The single room I stayed in was quite small, with an especially narrow bathroom, and a tiny closet to store clothes and the suitcase. Maybe I was just unlucky, and the double rooms are much more spacious. Yes, I must say that the room did not lack anything: modern decor, clean and unspoiled, several details like chocolate bars, face cream, etc.. The bed, as in many other places in Europe, has a good mattress. The bathroom was warm, but the room wasn't; I had to cover up well.
