Raj of India restaurant

The Raj of India is one of the many Indian restaurants that have invaded the British food scene over the past few years, and enjoys a strategic location in the small and charming Gundulph Square at the High Street in Rochester. I'm not complaining, of course, because it's a welcome change from pies and gravy and a chance to try something a bit more exotic. We ate a delicious chicken tikka masala (8 pounds) and a spicy vegetable curry for only 4 pounds. The naan was also excellent. A good place to east after a nice walk along the banks of the River Thames.
