Rabil

Rabil è una cittadina tranquilla, situata nell'entroterra di Boa Vista e, storicamente, fu la prima capitale dell'isola. Collocata in una posizione leggermente sopraelevata, offre dei bei punti panoramici da cui scattare qualche fotografia interessante. Come tutti i villaggi capoverdiani anche Rabil è composta da casette basse e colorate ma è soprattutto famosa per l'artigianato e, in particolare, per la lavorazione dell'argilla. Nella bottega locale è possibile assistere al lavoro degli operai che creano utensili, vasellamente e anche dei bellissimi magneti da frigo, ideali come souvenir.

Rabil a quiet town, located in the hinterland of Boa Vista and, historically, was the first capital of the island. Situated in a slightly elevated location it offers scenic points from which to take some interesting photography. Like all villages also Rabil Cape Verde consists of low houses and above all famous for handicrafts and, in particular, for the clay work. In the local shop you can attend the work of the workers who create tools, vasellamente and even beautiful as refrigerator magnets, ideal as a souvenir.
