Quillota

Quillota es una comuna y una ciudad capital de la provincia del mismo nombre, en la Región de Valparaíso, en Chile. Es muy conocida por tener un valle muy fértil que da las mejores chirimoyas (una fruta tropical de sabor suave y dulce, muy rica en vitamina C y agua, por lo que la recomiendan mucho para las dietas de adelgazamiento) y paltas (una especie de aguacate, rico en grasas vegetales y vitamina E) ambas con calidad de exportación. Hay que conocer su bella Plaza de Armas donde hay un ciprés caído, recuerdo de los temporales de 1980 y esculturas que representan las estaciones del año. En el Parque Municipal Aconcagua se puede pasear y hay juegos para niños. Una visita al Museo Histórico-Arqueológico de Quillota puede resultar interesante. También se puede ir al Regimiento de Caballería Bilndada "Granaderos" donde tienen un museo de coches antiguos, carruajes y un museo de tanques. En la Casa y Museo del Huaso se puede ver la historia de esta típica figura chilena, que aún en nuestros días es muy representativa de la zona. En el Jardín Botánico "Escalante" que está en la localidad rural de Boco a menos de dos kilómetros, se puede dar un paseo rodeado de plantas del lugar y cactáceas chilenas y de otros países latinoamericanos.

Also you can go Cavalry Regiment Bilndada "Grenadiers" where they have a museum of vintage cars, carriages and a museum of tanks. In the House and Museum Huaso you can see the history of Chilean tpica figure, an in our days is very representative of the area. In the Botanical Garden "Escalante" that is in the rural town of Boco less than two kilometers, you can stroll the place surrounded by plants and cactceas Chilean and other Latin American countries.
