Quan Thanh Temple

4 reviews of Quan Thanh Temple

A must see

Another unmissable spot in the city of Hanoi is the Quan Thanh Temple, a beautiful temple built to venerate the memory of General Huyen Thien Tran Vu, a staunch defender of the north. The temple has a beautiful facade with three stone doors and a steeple on top. In front of the entrance are four large pillars decorated with images of the phoenix, tiger, and other animals that are significant to Vietnamese culture. Inside the temple is a large patio, with an ornamental fish pond made of artistically crafted rock. The temple is very significant for locals, who come here in search of luck and happiness.

Go early to get the best experience.

Remains of ancient Vietnam

Pagoda of the holy mandarin.

Pagoda del santo mandarín .

Excellent

A sanctuary with imperial carvings in wood, columns and lacquered panels in red vermilion, something that is already common to the eye. That in turn are, in lintels, beams, doors and as not on his altar. At the end of it a huge black bronze image of the Taoist sage Tran Vú, with 4 tons of 1677. Represented as a deity together, his animals the snake and the turtle.

Not far from the area dedicated to Ho...

Small, friendly and a little mysterious, she is very pretty and pleasant to visit. Before the pagoda, you will find many bicycle taxis that will offer to escort you to the city center for a pittance.
