A touch of elegance on the seafront
The Putipù is a very nice spot on the Via Caracciolo, the ideal place for an aperitif or a happy hour, or a dinner with friends. It's not a real restaurant, but rather a bar-pizzeria-cafe spread over two floors. The lower floors is my favourite, because of the beautiful stained glass windows where you can admire the Gulf of Naples; upstairs is a bit cramped due to the slightly lower ceiling. The decor is very modern in fine shades of white, cream and brown. The menu is extremely varied: appetizers, pizzas, cold dishes, mixed platters, desserts and sweets. Their special is the famous crocchettone: a big potato croquette with cheese.
