I’d recommend this arid landscape for lovers. It’s a place for a bottle of wine, picnic basket, candles (on days when it’s not so windy) and contemplating the sky full of stars to the gentle rhythm of the surf.
If you go to Menorca, you can’t forget to visit Punta Nati, located only a few kilometers from Ciutadella and possessing some of the best views of the north of the island.
I’d recommend going at sunset and enjoying one of the most spectacular light shows on the island. Prepare a picnic basket and enjoy. You can’t miss it!
The trail to the Punta Nati Lighthouse is relatively short (8km) but very tough if you’re doing it on foot. You 100% must bring water. The Tramontana’s effect on clouds has turned this whole area into a desert.
Now, there are only rocks and the occasional flock of sheep. The prize, though, is at the end and makes the trek worthwhile.
The cliffs are impressive and it’s a very recommendable place to watch the sunset.
