A historic bridge
After visiting Doune Castle again, looking for a B&B, chance made me stumble upon this wonderful bridge. It's not too impressive in terms of size, but it's definitely worth seeing for its historical value! It is not well-known, but it has a good location, near the main road that leads straight to Stirling Castle. The only sign announcing its presence is Weak Bridge, indicating that it can't support heavy vehicles. But it is a bridge dating back to the Middle Ages, so as a medievalist I couldn't wait to immortalize it on minube! Its width suggests it was built for the passage of wagons, which is quite interesting.
