Good drinks, and great atmospheres
I've already talked about the good atmosphere in St Ninians, a historical part of Stirling, and now I'm going to explains some of the entertainment options available. There are lots of pubs. In all of them you can, of course, enjoy a beer, and plenty offer food as well (typical "pub grub"). The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming, full of local Scottish people.
Some are fancier than others (Hollybank Restaurant), but there aren't any major differences, to be honest. There are some that are very historical, for example the Borestone where, according to legend, Robert the Bruce raised the Scottish flag during the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314.
