Anchorage Alaska Public Lands Information Center

Throughout Alaska there are many universities that are dedicated to informing the public about the state. The Anchorage center is located downtown in the old federal courthouse, one of the most historic buildings in the city. Within the center there are exhibits with indigenous art and stuffed animals, and they also offer free public documentaries about Alaska. There is a very big bookstore that also sells souvenirs.
