Promenade Jacques Thibaud

This is a gorgeous walk starting from the traffic lights next to the sign for Handiplage (Disabled beach) that goes to the tip of Santa Barbara and the beach promenade. Jacques Thibaud (1880-1953), who is considered one of the great 20th century French violinists, was a great lover of St Jean de Luz, even though he was born in Bordeaux. He was even buried there, to which the city didn't hesitate to dedicate one of its most scenic walks along the sea.
