Praza Constitución

Praza Constitución is the most iconic square in Vigo, and is the equivalent to the Plaza Mayors you find in other cities. It has been declared a historical monument by the Galician government and it basically serves as the entrance to the Old Town of Vigo. From the square, you can clearly see the towers of the Cathedral and Calle Cesteiros, a street known for its traditional stores selling wicker objects. The square is surrounded by old stone buildings with porticoes and beautiful wrought iron balconies, so it's a very pleasant environment to have a drink in one of the cafes located under the porticoes.
