Praia de Calhetas

A pequena e paradisíaca Praia das Calhetas, localizada em São Sebastião, é uma das mais belas praias do litoral paulista. O acesso se dá por um condomínio fechado localizado na Rodovia Governador Mário Covas, na altura do km 144. A partir daí, só é permitido seguir a pé, descendo uma ladeira de cimento e com muita vegetação por uns 400 m. Na praia, muitas pedras compõem a paisagem do lado esquerdo, e do lado direito, uma área ótima para banho e para mergulho, sendo possível ver muitos peixes, principalmente em dias em que o mar está calmo. Um pequeno morro separa os dois lados da praia e possui alguma vegetação fazendo uma ótima sombra para fugir um pouco do Sol. A única coisa a reclamar são as casas do condomínio fechado, embora muito bonitas, estragam o que seria um perfeito cenário totalmente natural.

The small, idyllic beach of Calhetas, located in San Sebastian, is one of the most beautiful beaches of the North Coast. The access is through a gated community located on Highway Governor Mário Covas, at km 144. From there, it is only allowed to follow walk down a concrete slope and with lots of vegetation for about 400 m. On the beach, many rocks make up the landscape on the left and the right, a great area for swimming and diving, and you can see many fish, especially on days when the sea is calm. A small hill separates the two sides of the beach and has some vegetation making a great shade to get away a little of the sun. The only thing to complain are the houses of the gated community, although very beautiful, spoil what would be a perfect totally natural setting.

Um paraíso! A praia é belíssima, com água cristalina e ótima infraestrutura. Vale a pena a tirolesa que cai dentro da água. Recomendo o bar do Arthur, ótimo atendimento e comida deliciosa.

A paradise! The beach is beautiful, with crystal clear water and excellent infrastructure. Worth the Tyrolean falling into the water. I recommend the bar Arthur, great service and delicious food.

A little place down the road Rio Santos with a white sandy beach and islet facing the horizon. Magic place to replenish your energy.
