Praça Laurindo Rosa de Oliveira

A Praça Laurindo Rosa de Oliveira, fica na entrada cidade de Peixe Boi, no Pará, um pouco menos de 160 Km de Belém. Chama atenção, o monumento com símbolo do município, fincado ao alto, o Peixe Boi, um mamífero marinho e herbívoro, que vive nos rios e lagos da Amazônia, e que deu origem ao nome do rio que banha a cidade, e consequentemente ao nome do município. A praça é pequena, possui um parque infantil e pelo seu aspecto singelo, praticamente obriga uma paradinha do viajante para curtir o local. É projeto da prefeitura substituir o Peixe Boi pela imagem de Nossa Senhora de Fátima. Neste caso o Peixe boi seria transferido para outra praça.
