Pousada Bonita Ipanema

Finding a good place to stay in the city of Rio de Janeiro isn't easy. The city has plenty of hotels, but many are expensive. This is why the Hotel Bonita Ipanema came as a pleasant surprise. The former home of Tom Jobim, it is located in a very nice area of Rio, near the heart of Ipanema, only a few blocks from the beach. There are some shared dormitories, but I opted for a private room (with bathroom), which was still 50% cheaper than other rooms in the area. The rooms are simple, but the hotel also has a small swimming pool, a lounge and a bar. The breakfast is included in the price, and all rooms have wifi.
