It was the day of San Pedro, so the street was the most decked out, and nearby were on the street with their fireworks making paellas. This site was one of the main entrances through the walls into the medieval village, and now is the only door left standing. There is an arch on the north side, the interior houses a curious altar dedicated to St. Peter, say that the hinges are authentic, the recorded date 1578 is the year of restoration.
