Port Mandracchio

Il mandracchio, ovvero il porticciolo, di Muggia è piuttosto particolare, perché le barche ormeggiate arrivano fin a ridosso delle case, formando una sorta di ansa interna che dona alla città un aspetto molto suggestivo. Il porto è il luogo ideale dove fare una passeggiata, in particolare la sera, quando il sole scende sul mare regalando tramonti infuocati. A quest'ora del giorno, il porto è un luogo silenzioso, le barche ormai sono ormeggiate ed è il momento ideale per attardarsi a leggere un libro su una delle banchine, in attesa che arrivi la sera.

The mandracchio, or the marina, Muggia is rather special because the moored boats arriving from behind the houses, forming a sort of loop inside which gives the city a very striking appearance. The harbor is the ideal place to take a walk, especially in the evening when the sun goes down over the sea giving sunsets. At this time of day, the harbor is a quiet place, the boats are moored and now is the perfect time to linger and read a book on one of the docks, waiting for the arrival in the evening.
