Very quiet
Porlock is a pretty seaside village on the coast of Somerset. It's very quiet and has two developments, the first is Porlock itself, and the second is Porlock Weir. The sea offers a lovely fishing port with coloured boats and cliffs in the distance, just like a postcard. To reach Portlock, it's best to rent a car from Bristol or Taunton, so you can drive along the coast of Somerset and Devon, which has even more charm and villages. Porlock is quite popular with tourists, and several writers have described it in their novels. There is a small tourist office in town, but it's run by a volunteer and only has a few resources.
