A worthy destination

Excellent

The London Pool is the name of one of the parts of the Thames, between London Bridge in the west and Tower Bridge in the east. This part of the river was for a long time the heart of port activity in the city, where boats were moored. Its usage peaked in the late eighteenth century, and it remained an important place until the 1960s when the river trade collapsed. In the 1990s, it underwent major renovations with the aim of transforming it into a tourist destination. A walk was built along the river, and you can see the warship HMS Belfast docked in the Thames.
