Pont-Aven Port

The Port of Pont-Aven is one of the best places to visit in the town. There is a boat preapred to sail the sea quickly when the tide comes in and the ride round the harbor is very nice. It dates from the eighteenth century, a time of prosperity for the country. From the bridge, on the left is a large rock called shoe rock or Gargantua. Its overall shape looks like a giant pretty shoe ... ugly, I must be said.
